   Churches Planted

• Pedrinhas
  The Gospel was first announced by the couple, James and Mary Orr, at the beginning of the 70s. After 1982 the village was visited periodically by Marcio and Jaime and, in 1984, Pr. Marcio and Damaris fixed their residence in that place, founding a church. Four other communities, apart from various families that lived in isolated areas, were reached through the church of Pedrinhas, that was the first church to be planted in the EMAF field.
  
• Ariri
  The first contacts were made by Jaime and Márcio, but the ministry only began to gain ground after the arrival of the couple, Pr. Roberto and Alzira Ramos, in 1989. They were responsible for the formation of the church at Ariri, and now it has preaching points in neighbouring villages and islands.

A Pile of Wheat
A beautiful story is the one about the planting of a church on this island, situated on the northern coast of the state of São Paulo. Marcio and Jaime ministered there in 1985 for the first time, and the young leader of the community was converted on that occasion. Various other evangelistic and discipling visits were made and today there is a church on the island, planted and lead by Valentim, that first convert.
