Many families are moving
from the islands of Complexo da Cassumba, extreme south of Bahia, to the city
of Caravelas trying to imporve their life style, however, they are living in a
state of misery and the children at the mercy of drugs and prostitution.
Many of these children
between the ages of 9 and 13 have been evangelized on the islands by Rosalia
when they were small. Rosalia lives in Caravelas, and her purpose is to evangelize
these children and their families. She has the desire in her heart to help
these little ones trying to supply their basic needs.
Please pray for:
Ø
two couples of missionaries to help us in the
ministry; there are two districts in Caravelas where the people of the islands
have come to live
Ø
for a place to show a film at Bairro Novo
Ø
for a place to work with the children on Saturdays
Ø
for people to help in the preparation of meals, and
to supply the ingredients for them.
Ø
for believers of Caravelas to become involved with
the work.
