Planted Churches
- Ilha Grande - Camamú Region
Pr. Abraão and Cléo made some visits and, together with missionaries Reginaldo and Márcia Menezes, coordinated the first health team on the island. Reginaldo continued with the work, planting a church, followed by a couple sent by the First Baptists Church of Jequié, that worked there for four years. Presently the Metropolitana Baptist Church in Salvador has assumed the congregation. We are building a Christian Social Centre to assist the youth of the island.

The Jerusalém Baptist Church has assumed the work with Pr. Jucelino and famly responsible for the ministry. We are finishing the work on the temple at Taipú. Pr. Jucelino also gives assistance at Campinho. The building of the temple is already concluded. There are only a few finish details awaiting, but the people already meet there.
- Barcelos do Sul
After researching the field, Pr. Abraão and Cléo began a ministry of evangelization, follwed by missionaries Reginaldo and Márcia. After planting a church, a couple of workers, sent by the Salvador Baptist Church, assumed the work for 5 years. Presently Magno and Luciana are leading the congregation at Barcelos. EMAF maintains the Day Care Centre for needy children.
- Boipeba
The ministry was initiated by Pr. Jailson Santana and grew under the leadership of Pr. Raimundo Gonçalves. Linked to the First Baptist Church of Valença, the church is presently under the leadership of Pr. Adeilson and Ana Xavier who also give assistance to Cova da Onça where we have a small temple and various converts. EMAF maintains the Day Care Centre at Boipeba for needy children.
- Cairú
The Congregation at Cairú belongs to the Sinai Baptist Church in Salvador and is under the responsibility of Pr. Rosemberg . Pr. Rosemberg also gives assistance to the Canavieiras, Tourrinha, Tapuias and Itiúca Islands where there are various converts and some baptized. On Canavieiras and Tapuias we built temples.
Complexo da Cassumba
- Near the Abrolhos Cluster, which includes the island of Cassumba and its surroundings, in the extreme south of Bahia. After a detailed research, workers Pr. Raimundo and Jesileide were sent to the region in 1998, where various preaching points and a centre for literacy study were initiated in a community called "Francisca Lopes". Presently there is no literacy course as the government runs a launch service to transport the students to Caravelas. Today, a couple, Israel and Rosália, lead the work on the islands and visits 4 islands every week (from Tuesday to Saturday): Francisca Lopes, Calabouço, Ilha do Padre and Tererê, giving assistance to the converts of the islands. Rosália has offered art work to the women.
