EDUCATION
SWEET HOME PROJECT
AMAPÁ AND PARÁ

We cooperate with the integral development of the children, teaching about the Kingdom of God, helping with their learning progress, relating to others, and with their health, protecting them from early sexuality and sexual abuse.

WHERE?
EMAF Base at Afuá, Marajó/PA Cluster and the EMAF base Bailique/Vila Progresso

WHAT FOR?
Cooperating with the integral development of children, teaching them about the Kingdom of God, helping them with their school progress, relationships with others and physical health, protecting them from early sexuality/sexual abuse.

"‘A’ is a student at Sweet Home who, at her age, could not continue with us, but God blessed us and we could include one more in theproject – adolescente - and ‘A’ continues with us. She was extremely timid and irational, born in a problematical home, with separated parents, brother in law in prison, and a sister of 17 already a mother, another sister is is homossexual.  ‘A’ has been changed day by day. She received JESUS as her SAVIOUR and is active in church. ‘A’ wants to be a missionary and teacher. She wants a better future and with Jesus in her life, she surely will have it!"

"At 13 years of age, Frida began to take part in Sweet Home through curiosity. She was not a student, but was always present. Some months later, she was converted to Christ and became a volunteer in the Project.  In 2014 she took part in the training at EMAF Afuá base, Marajó/PA. When she finished the training, she won a scholarship to study far away, making it necessary to do internship and TCC at the school in Rio de Janeiro. In May/2017, Frida finished the Middle level  technical course. Her purpose was to continue working as a volunteer coordinator in the Sweet Home Project."
