With the constant rains and the great floods, water from many rivers invade the lower land of the Marajó cluster, at the mouth of the Amazon River. It is common for snakes to approach the houses and come up on the stilts during these days, bringing great danger to the natives and families of the missionaries. In less than a month we found two jararacas (very poisonous snake) and a sucurí at the EMAF Afuá base. Please pray 🙌 • For God's protection, not only from the snakes, but from spiders and scorpions. • For health resources for the riverside folk. • For wisdom in the preservation of the environment, and awareness of the communities to good practices as well.
