MISSIONARY LETTER
My name is Thalia Ariadna, I am 21 years old, and I live in Santana/AP.
In 2017 I spent my holidays in the Bailique cluster, in the home of my uncle and aunt, who are missionaries there, and I had a personal experience with Jesus. In a reality different to mine, I could experience the style of life of the Riverside folk. Visiting the communites, taking part in the meetings, the training of workers and evangelism, something in me began to change and I ended up living there for a year. I was having experiences with God and my heart began to burn for missions and love for that people, for that place.
I was a volunteer with EMAF in the Sweet Home Project, I gave art lessons, helped with the children’s meals, with the conviction that this was what I wanted to do and that God was calling me to be a missionary.
Now I do missions in my town. I created a Project, Loving Lives, that meets the physical and spiritual needs of the Riverside folk. With the help of partners, I made my first mission trip to the Community of Marinheiro de Fora, in Bailique, with donations of clothes and basic food baskets, spending a happy afternoon with the children and giving an art course to the women, a time that I was able to relate to them.
I want to continue serving the Lord with love and taking the Gospel wherever He sends me ❤
