Beyond the river... Rio Purus/Amazonas
Three years ago we arrived on the Rio Purus. We worked at 5 bases along 1.500 kms of the river, with 38 missionaries working together, planting 20 churches among the 1222 communities without the Gospel.
We hope to increase our team and have more bases along the river. We are searching for partnerships with local churches and pray for more missionaries to be sent, and supported by their churches. We are also ready to receive short term teams and long term trainees.
Challenges for 2019
• Floating dock for the Pauin base.
• Boat for the Tapauá base.
• Construction of the first mission house in the Community, in Maranhão.
